Supporting local communities is a core value of Mitolo Family Farms and we are proud to partner with Australia’s leading food and grocery relief organisation, Foodbank Australia. Foodbank works with 2,950 frontline charities and 2,890 school breakfast programs throughout Australia to get over 82 million meals out to those who could use a hand every year.
In 2022, we donated the equivalent of 1,647,500 meals to people in need. The positive impact of food donation is both short and longer-term, addressing not only immediate hunger, but also contributing to people’s overall physical and mental wellbeing. This helps them to achieve greater resilience in their lives and the potential for a more positive future.
The cost of living crisis and ongoing natural disasters have made 2022 another extremely challenging year. But thanks to your generosity and kindness, those doing it tough have oneless thing to worry about. Last year, Foodbank sourced 82 million meals with your support, helping us ensure no one goes without.
