STEP 1
Combine potato, egg, cheese, flour and spices in a bowl, mix to combine, form into 4 patties the same diameter as the burger buns.
STEP 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a large non-stick frypan and cook the patties until golden on both sides. Place cheese slices on the hot patties to melt.
STEP 3
Lightly toast the burger buns under a grill.
STEP 4
To assemble, place two cheese topped patties on the base of a burger bun and add 4 pickle slices.
STEP 5
Drizzle the underside of the burger tops with tomato sauce and mustard and place on top of the pickle layer. Serve immediately.
