ALLIANS POTATOES
The Allians variety was discovered by the Mitolo family (Frank, John, and Darren) over a decade ago. This high profile salad variety was selected from numerous breeding trials in the quaint, old medieval town of Lüneburg, Northern Germany. Whist the boys were happy with their test recruit, they still had to wait 7 years to get their hands on the first potato seedling for them to commence commercial trials in South Australia’s Riverland region.
Developing this variety over the past 5 years has required a high level of farming focus, and detail to ensure they were able to grow this potato with the same quality just as they do in Lüneburg.
